Oh...it's gonna be a scorcher. I mean hot. We are looking at 100 plus today and tomorrow. Eeeeeeewwwwwwwwiiiiiiiiieeeeeee.
So...I tried out that Monday thing last week...being open on a Monday that is. I just flipped my "open" sign over, tossed my sign out and made $9.00. Yep. I wasn't feeling the Mondays. Maria at Collage said "It's a holiday week...I was slow too...try it again".
My personal feeling is that she's the ONLY one on our whole stretch who is open on Mondays and she's really lonely, but whatever...I'm a team player. I tried it again yesterday and BOY HOWDEE. The shoppers were out. She might be onto something. It was a lot of people who wanted to "check it out up here when it wasn't so busy". They obviously don't know how quiet WEDNESDAYS are on that street...LOL...but whatever! I had a fantastic day. And that means...I placed more fun orders and put some money into my estate sale pot for the weekend!!!
So..I think after this week I'll go to having Tuesday & Wednesday being my "closed" days. I know THAT will annoy people too....but I am just one person! I'm not at that permanent employee stage quite yet.
My eggs came in last week, but I never had my camera with me. These have crack in them or something because people LOVE these! I can't keep them in. I am on my 3rd order of eggs and I order about 250 each time! 
And new nests to go with the eggs of course.
I made myself a new little open sign too. I am tossing some ric rac along the top too.
Can you tell how slow my week was last week? Teeeheeeheeeheee.
Turns out that last night the last employee at Collage left the air conditioner on and it's like a meat locker in there so the family and I are head up to go get our craft on. Maybe have a pizza delivered there! Isn't that funny? "Happy summer kids...we're going to sit inside and make stuff...just like we did in the January rains."
My son has been making cards that are so sweet. I know....I'm his mom...but they are funny! The camera did not do them justice. They say the funniest things!
This says "Peanut on the Run" and makes me giggle.
He has discovered my Bingo card stash....the world is over as we know it.
Okay.....off to slap my hair in a pony and try to survive the heat! Hope it's cool and breezy where YOU live!
good lord is it hot!! I don't think it cooled down last night.... I think I need to stop by and get some of those cute eggs!!
